I think this is because you are calling setCenter() before adding your
layers. If you flip that round it should work without clicking.
Admittedly this is a bug and we should file a ticket for it.

This is actually an issue with the way tiling is implemented. We've
been talking to Paul Spencer (the author of ka-Map) at Where 2.0 and
have some ideas on how to fix this.
