Hm, I'm not seeing any problems of that nature, and the last change to
that file was 6 days ago. Can you link to one of the files which is not
working for you, so that I can further diagnose (and hopefully fix!) the
issue. 

That shouldn't be the problem with the original poster, since he is
using the API version of the code, but I use the /dev/lib/ version of
OpenLayers in all of my code, and we typically do run throughs on the
examples as a way of doing acceptance tests on various changes, but I
haven't seen any problems -- this may be a browser-specific problem that
it would be good to resolve.
