Hi Brent,
Currently there is no way to do this, though it does seem like a
logical functionality.
The fix, I think, would be to make a flag on the layer, something to
the effect
of 'visibleInLayerSwitcher" or something like that, and let the
LayerSwitcher then
deal with
If you could create a ticket for something to this effect, we will add it to our
plate... or you could take a crack at writing the patch yourself and sending
it here to the list.
We are always open to new ideas and suggestions... it's just that right now,
the core OL developers are super busy working on some other projects.
