[OpenLayers-Users] OpenLayers and Projections

Hello Scott,

i believe that mapserver via wms only understand EPSG or AUTO. With a
request something like this:

http://gis.ibbeck.de/scripts/mapserv.exe?map=pinguinalemaps/mywuppertal.map&
FORMAT=image/png&LAYERS=MYSTREETS,MYPLACES,MYBLATT&TRANSPARENT=TRUE&SERVICE=
WMS&VERSION=1.1.1&REQUEST=GetMap&STYLES=&EXCEPTIONS=application/vnd.ogc.wms_
xml&SRS=proj=aea,ellps=GRS80,datum=NAD83,lon_0=96w,lat_0=37.5n,lat_1=29.5n,l

you will get the following error message:

msWMSLoadGetMapParams(): WMS server error. Unsupported SRS namespace (only
EPSG and AUTO currently supported).
