[OpenLayers-Users] Background loading of invisible layer tiles

I'm starting to use openlayers to view raster map layers from a WMS
server. I noticed that if I zoom, and then deselect a layer, then
while waiting for the tiles for the selected layers to load open
layers still loads the tiles for layers which have been deselected. Is
there a way to have these ordered so that the tiles for the visible
layers get loaded before the tiles for the deselected layers.
