I think that #92 is important enough (especially for performance on IE)
that I'd rather make it a priority than try and work around it. I can't
make any promises, but I'm very much hopeful that we can get this into
place before the next release, as I think ti's a significant issue.

However, if that does become impossible, I'll take a look at what other
solutions there might be in the short term.
