Hi guys,

I didn't post a link first time, as it was only on my local dev server. 
Here's the problem in all its glory:

Quakes layer is the untiled one, Basemap appear above it and is a 
'standard' OpenLayers.Layer.WMS object. When both are present the click 
event works just fine (using the example code from examples/click.html) 
and reports the position clicked on. Hide the Basemap layer (or hack the 
code so that it's never added to the OpenLayers.Map object) and nothing...

I'll add a ticket, and try to track down the problem.
