The browsers we currently test in:

  Firefox 1.5
Internet Explorer 6.0 -- not sure on the specifics
  Mozilla 1.8
  Safari 1.3
  Opera 9

It is known that Safari 1.1 doesn't work -- we don't currently have
access to a 10.3 mac, so I can't test in 1.2. FF 1.0 definitely does
work.

Other than Safari 1.1, I've not yet had any browsers reported as failing
in the wild. Internet Explorer 5.5 for mac will *not* be supported, as it is
end of lined by Microsoft and simply doesn't have the Javascript
capabilities neccesary for doing the heavy lifting OpenLayers does.

There is a ticket for cross browser compatibility --
http://trac.openlayers.org/ticket/79 -- which has not been heavily
worked on yet, but is the eventual goal list for cross-browser support,
designed to match Google Maps.

If there is a specific browser that you find is not working, please let
us know, and we will move it up in priority for testing.
